limbo (how low can you go?)

You may recall that a couple weeks ago, my neurologist told me there was nothing more she could do for me, and referred me to a doctor in Nashville. This doctor, who will be my twelfth neurologist should I enter her care, is more than two hours away, and cannot see me until 2018. So I called my current (ex?) neurologist, and told her that I wasn't really excited about this prospect, and wondered if there was something else she could do for me. Today her nurse called me back. She asked me about several maintenance medications I could try to prevent my migraines; I had tried them all. Then she basically said, "There's nothing we can do, then. You'll just have to wait until the other doctor can see you."

I am really upset. I really liked this neurologist, and I believed her when she said she wouldn't give up on me. But she has. Like they all have.

I need Iceman to be an out and proud gay Vice Admiral who wildly out ranks flying-a-desk-at-TOPGUN Pete Mitchell and has 14 Bronze Stars and the cutest husband who rebuilt them a classic convertible which they drive down the Pacific Highway to their beach house every summer.
